Square Olivier de Magny: Umarmen
The exploration of the possibilities of invisible exchanges with these plants that we encounter on a daily basis has inspired this room into which we can enter. Umarmen (hugging in German) is a room halfway between the outfit and the shelter, to allow everyone to experience a privileged moment with a tree. A structure of wooden and felt plates, fixed to a tree trunk, which isolates from the environment and allows to come into contact with a tree subject in complete intimacy: to surround the trunk with his arms, to feel, to breathe, to be inspired, to imagine. And turn into a half-man, half-tree being for the viewers.
