2km4, for a joyful ecology / station 1/ soil

km4_for a joyful ecology is a project that brings together artists, scientists and local residents on a 2km4 survey of the Orsay campus on the Plateau de Saclay, focusing on ways of paying attention to the living.
The project brings together a group of artists and scientists including artists Karine Bonneval and Anaïs Tondeur, Floriane Pochon from Phaune Radio, Xavier Boissarie from the Orbe collective, and researcher Claire Damesin. Philosopher Michaël Marder is 2km4's travelling companion, maintaining a regular correspondence with artist Anaïs Tondeur.

On 22 April, in the company of Stéphane Bazot from the ESE, we surveyed the wasteland opposite the IDEEV and the Guyonnerie wood for two stations looking at soil and bio-indicator plants. I took sound samples of the activity of the meso and macrofauna in the soil, the substrate and the flowers of the plants identified.
