Do trees dream of CO2 ?

A journey in a boat, a symbolic passage between the world of humans: Teatermaskinen and the world of trees: the island of Lake Skildammen. There, a fir tree, one branch of which is fitted with a pepipiaf, an ecophysiological measuring tool, modulates its diameter according to the season, temperature, time of day and humidity. Soon a group of people will come and lie down on the mats arranged in petals around it, above its roots. Karine Bonneval will be recording the activity of the soil near the roots, and Per Hüttner will be modulating it live with data from the tree, in quadraphonic sound. Taking the time to listen together to these sounds and those of other living beings on the island. One person is equipped with an EEG, and his or her brain waves, transformed into sound, vibrate a speaker directed towards the roots of the tree. Listening to the subtle, delicate sounds, letting the tree hear the brain activity modulated directly by these sounds.
